Embodied flow, Mindfulness and Kirtan- Developing Autonomy within your yoga practice and an introduction to meditation & Kirtan. The modern definition of Vinyasa is to synchronise breath and movement - however - Vinyasa simply means to move or place something in a special way or with intention.
We often get caught up in repeptitive absent minded patterns on the yoga mat. Clutching to farmiliarity and what we "know."
This workshop is brought to you to encourage more curiosity and exploration throughout your Vinyasa practice (or any lineage of yoga!), equipping you with the ability to bring freshness and a willingness to re-discover your body every practice, and to feel your way into posture and breath, rather than re-create something over and over.
When the practice is more deeply felt into we not only align on a physical level but also to all layers of experience/ being.
All of the above will loosen you up ready to explore meditation. We will go on to explore guided mindfulness meditation techniques and Kirtan (the meditation of mantra/chanting.) The throat is often the most congested and blocked collection of energy in the body, clouding the bridge between heart and mind. The vibrational and cleansing qualities of chanting can lead us into deeper internal flow state, helping to clear stagnating or excessive build up of energy in the body and connect to a higher state of awareness
